12 year old Ava Gadsby makes her first team debut at East Region County Match Week

A major highlight of the year for all to enjoy. The prestigious East Region County Match week held at the wonderful Brocket Hall , a three day event featuring Hertfordshire, Suffolk, Bedfordshire, Norfolk and Essex. Seeing their 6 best players compete against each other in a match play event.
Ava recently promoted to the Hertfordshire Team squad open her account winning her first match against Cambridgeshire 7 & 6, losing to Essex 4 & 3, winning against Norfolk 6 & 5, followed by a hole by hole battle with Suffolk ending tied overall.
Ava Gadsby said, “I’ve worked hard in training to improve my golf. I’ve recently made some changes and extended my clubs because of my growth. Although we didn’t get the result we were hoping for I was pleased with my performance but overall I took some valuable lessons away.”
