Gadsby wins her round to help East Herts win 2-3 in the Ladies Scratch Match play event.
Hertfordshire youngster Ava Gadsby enjoyed playing for East Herts Ladies scratch ‘A’ Team in a highly competitive match away against Hadley Wood Ladies.
Ava fought a competitive round to win her round on the day at the glorious Hadley Wood course.
Last year saw Ava, who is a member at East Herts Golf Club, win Hertfordshire Golf’s U16 Championship. as well as 11 Junior Opens across the area, while only last month she won the British Junior Open Qualifier at The Caversham Golf Club, which also qualified for the IMG World Junior Championships in San Diego in July, the biggest and most prestigious Junior Championship in the world. Following her stellar form, Ava, whose Uncle is two-time European Tour Winner Lee Slattery, has been invited to further international championships including the European Championships in Scotland, the World Championships in Pinehurst In North Carolina, and further events in Italy, Canada and the US.
