Ava secures her place in the IMG World Championships

12 year old Ava Gadsby has dominated the US KIDS London tour at the start of this year winning back to back wins at North Middlesex, Manor of Groves, Hanbury Manor and Chesfield Downs over the past eight weeks. The six match win streak golfer secured her the US Kids London Winter League Championship after the four wins, giving Ava a winning start to the spring season. An absolute dominant start to the 2024 Golf Season. The St Edmund’s School Golfer won the under 16 Hertfordshire Golf championship last year as well as 11 Golf Junior Opens in 2023. 
And last week in The US Kids London Championships at The North Middlesex Golf Course she was victorious again, making it a super hot six in a row US Kids win streak. Following the wins the young golfer has since been invited to further championships in Venice, New York State, Canada, Colombia, California as well as the European Championships in Scotland and the World Championships at the legendary and first US Open Anchor Site at Pinehurst in North Carolina.

And last week,  she added to the win streak not only winning the British Junior Open Qualifier at the Caversham Golf Club to make it a ‘Septuple Win Steak’ but she also qualified for the IMG World Junior Open Championships in San Diego in July 2024, the biggest and most prestigious Junior Championship in the world. .

About The IMG World Junior Golf ChampionshipsThe IMG Academy Junior World Championships is a prestigious tournament with over 1300 of the best junior golfers from over 50 countries worldwide, all trying to win their age category.

Founded in 1968, previous winners include Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, and Ernie Els, to name just a few.
The British Junior Golf Tour is the only way that a player from the UK can qualify for this tournament.

About the Event (Founded in 2008): What started as an event to create more opportunities for junior golfers to compete in a World Championship style event has grown rapidly to become one of the biggest and most exciting tournaments annually in the world of junior golf.
Players must qualify to compete in this Championship, with Callaway Golf as the title sponsor, and in 2023 there were over 120 opportunities worldwide to earn your spot to compete with other players from around the world.
This year the event grew to 700 players from over 36 countries, playing on 10 Championship Golf Courses with 30 College Golf Coaches on site recruiting.
